May. 14th, 2006 04:54 pmAt the restaurant last night, our waitress informed us that if we needed anything, there was a "cute blonde waitress" running around and that she was her daughter, helping out that night. Later, the two of them had an exchange that was either a very public argument, or their form of high comedy, not sure which. The daughter claimed that she was just helping out, and then this was said:
"You know what this is? It's SLAVE LABOR! And that was abolished, like, TWENTY YEARS AGO!"
Ah yes, during Reagan's short-lived "Trickle-Up" economics.
