Comedy Central is in production with three new pilots: Mark and Mike stars Mark Borshardt and Mike Schank from American Movie, on their quest to make a new film in Milwaukee with no resources, but filled with many colorful characters; American Body Shop is an improvised narrative similar to the network's series Reno 911, but set in the world of local auto body repair shops and the eccentric people who often work there; and an untitled DeRay Davis pilot will weave his urban point of view, his comedy stand-up comedy and his life experiences into this new half-hour variety show.

Heads up to you Knight Rider fans: The old Glen A. Larson series from the '80s is being made into a film, according to Hollywood Reporter. Weinstein Co. has brought in Larson to write and exec produce the film. This isn't the first time the K.I.T.T. car had its tires kicked for a feature film - the project had been at Revolution Studios before. Production with Weinstein Co. is expected to start next year.

Oh, and the VMars finale is on tonight. Not sure if it's series or season. Don't think UPN knows either, since it'll turn into CW in the fall. They'd be stupid not to keep it on and sandwich it in between Naughty Teens Played By 30-Year-Olds and Spinoff of Naughty Teens Played By 30-Year-Olds.

Special irony: in a recent VMars episode, Veronica (played by non-teen Kristin Bell) visited a university, where her college student tour guides were played by actual teenagers. I forget the actors' names.
