Which Unfortunate movies have you seen?

I think the list is rather skewed, especially since it's the internet. There are a lot of kiddie flicks on here, and I sense a lot of bitter 15-year-olds posting "Yeah, I had to watch this dumb movie with my kid brother and it SUCKS!" Also, duh, MST3K movies all over this thing.

Totally. I've seen WAY more shitty movies than these. :)

Street Fighter is classed up merely by the presence of Raul Julia and Kylie Minogue. And what of the internal struggle Blanka faces? Brilliant.

I love this meme. However, I haven't seen any of the movies on the list. (Not even the first Pokemon movie, though I did start it, just couldn't finish at the time because my child was a little scared of it. I loved the second one though. XD)

I have however seen both "Porky's" and "Private School" Go teen sex comedies of the 80s! Preferably somewhere far away from me!

I have the soundtrack, like actually paid money for it, if that helps you.

I am, as you know, a punk rock prom queen. :)

(I don't, however, have the movie.) :)

Yeah, I've seen a few of these, though some of them courtesy of MST3K, so I don't know how much responsibility I should be taking.

But Pokemon and Might Morph and the Power Rangers or whatever shouldn't really count. They're for kids, fer crissakes. Let them have their bread and circus', I say.

I love that song for the double entendres. Pretty much my favourite on the album.

From: [identity profile] fadingembers.livejournal.com
Ehhhhxactly. I think a lot of kids had to sit through those in middle school and are bitter now, so they add them to the list. But when you're a kid, you LOVE crap. It's part of your job.

Heh, Private School sounds like it should be porn!

Sadly, I still have not seen Porky's. Tear.

See? There's a SLEW of Kevin Costner films that should be on here!

Raul Julia was way too skinny to be M. Bison. Who did Kylie play?

Chun Li, duh.

Er, I mean, Cammie.

It's probably so hard to pick among the Kevin Costner movies, though, on the merits of "Entertainingly Crappy" and "Oh God I Want The Six Hours Of My Life Back Crappy". Waterworld is awful but FUN awful, while Dances With Wolves is unforgivably dull and The Postman combines the worst qualities of Waterworld and DWW both!

I was actually very moved by Dances With Wolves, but due to length and character-misery quotient, it's very unlikely I'll ever get around to actually watching it a second time.

Waterworld was crappy but I'll watch it any day because I. love. sailboats. Grew up with one. And entire movie about people living on boats and the great war between the sailors and the the motorboaters? HuzZAH! Fuck yeah! Speedboats are a curse on the world! Now where did I set my margarita...

There's also the fact that trimarans are really, really cool boats. And Costner's boat in that movie was a TRANSFORMER trimaran. You just can't beat that shit.

If Waterworld had a different cast, different plot, different concept, different script, different costumes, different filming locations and local cast, different editors, different director, complete lack of explosions, and complete lack of Dennis Hoffman and Kevin Costner, it would literally be the best movie ever. (So basically the only things that are good as-is are the vague general world-building premise and the trimarans.)

Weevil from Veronica Mars was in it, so I kind of want to see it now.
