• The CW will bring back many of the more popular series from WB and UPN, including hit series 7th Heaven, Gilmore Girls, Smallville, Supernatural, One Tree Hill from the WB; and Everybody Hates Chris, All of Us, Girlfriends, Veronica Mars and WWE Smackdown from UPN. Also expected to return are America's Next Top Model and Beauty & the Geek. Only two new series for The CW in the fall - Runaway (Sony Pictures Television) and The Game (CBS Paramount Network TV), the latter being a spinoff of Girlfriends. Also in the hopper is primetime soap Palm Springs from Kevin Williamson (Lionsgate Television).
  
• As for Fox - two things to know. What you know as the drama pilot Primary about crisis negotiators has been retitled as Standoff; and what you may recall as American Crime also has a new name - Justice. Other new shows to be announced this afternoon are The Wedding Album, The Winner, Happy Hour, Til Death and Vanished.
Hee, The Wedding Album was shot on the street where my office is. When I checked IMDB, they just mentioned there was a pilot, but not for what network. I'll tune in just for fame by proxy.

• From CBS - The Class – A group of twentysomethings who were all in the same third grade class reunite and are forever bound together after wondering if they have anything in common besides vague memories. From Warner Bros. Television. Haven't there been at least five shows in the past few years with a similar plot device? High school reunions, reuniting friends who grew up together. Seriously, are all the writers exactly 30?
  
• Jericho – The residents of a small Kansas town are thrown into chaos when a nuclear bomb explodes leaving them to think they might be the only people left alive. Stars Skeet Ulrich, Gerald McRaney among others. Produced by CBS Paramount Network Television in association with Junction Entertainment. So THAT'S what happened to Skeet Ulrich! But hey, CBS - trust me, most Kansas towns are like that ANYWAY, nuclear bomb or no. Yes, yes, I realize you're trying to rip off Lost, but I thought I'd let you know.
  
• Oh, and cheekybaby, How I Met Your Mother will be on at 8p Monday next season - don't know if that's a change or anything...

Things

I've got a weird pain on my chest. Not IN my chest, mind you. I can take a big deep breath and nothing hurts, so it's not ribs or lungs. It feels like there's a big bruise in the center of my chest between my boobs and the nape of my neck. Continued inspection reveals no bruise, but man - what the Hell did I do last night?!

I don't trust the "magic key" marshmallows in Lucky Charms. For those who don't know, they appear to be little yellow rectangular marshmallows, but when in milk, the middle melts away to reveal a key shape. Now, what the hell is the middle made of that blends into marshmallow, but melts in milk? What is it putting in my milk? LUCKY YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE LEPRECHAUN, YOU'RE TRYING TO KILL ME!

Someone please remind me that I have no less than 5 knitting/crochet/embroidery projects going on at the moment, and therefore do not need to go buy Sexy Little Knits so I can make a bathing suit.

Kirk's college graduation is today (ooh, look at me, I'm a cradle-robber!) and I thought about calling in sick to surprise him at the graduation, but I had so many sick days from earlier this year, and I wouldn't know where to go, or if I needed tickets, or where to park. Sniff. I guess I'll have to make up for missing it later by [insert your own cum laude pun here. I wonder whatever happened to that icon I used to have...].

I'm tired of banging the fucking drum; I wanna work all day!

This morning I made a comp tape, and then I went to a focus group. Then I refreshed livejournal approximately 17 billion times. Now I'm doing menial work to keep busy because I'm so damn bored. I feel like we should play some sort of game in the comments, but I don't think I have the head for it, even. Oy.
