Happy St. Cheapy Valentine's Day
Feb. 15th, 2006 08:20 pmMm, nothing says "Reliving your childhood" dinner like hot dogs, spaghettios, and chocolate milk with Bailey's.
My Valentine's date last night was totally hot. As a bonus, I even get him to myself for a three-day weekend next. We had a romantic candlelit dinner of grilled cheese, pickles,* and Asti, and fancy hearing cake for dessert.**
I got him Dynasty Warriors 5, an Aqualung album, and a little leather wallet thingie to keep his DS games in. He got me From Eroica with Love 2 (manga [comic book]), really nice headphones to wear with my iPod, Max Payne 2, plus an autographed copy of VAST: A Complete Demonstration. Yay!
*She laughed to herself, almost silently. "What's so funny?" he asked.
"I came home and showered and shaved and got all purty and put on perfume, and NOW I SMELL LIKE PICKLES."
**That's a nerdy reference to the fact that we watched Azumanga Daioh before bed.
