This is a story...
A story about a girl. One day, she decided to enroll in a class called "Fiction to Film." It sounded fun. Students would learn about the process a novel undergoes in becoming a film. Unfortunately, it was not fun. The girl did not like the class at all. Then, at the end of the semester, she had a meeting with the professor, and the professor held up her most recent paper and asked,

The girl's eyes got wide. "No!" she insisted. It was true, she had no citations or bibliographies, but she expected she would need none in a 2-page paper. When writing it, she printed out all of her sources and looked over them occasionally, but did not copy and paste. The professor told her that she takes plagiarism very seriously and might have to fail her for the course because of this. Though the girl tried to will herself not to cry, the tears fell. As she blubbered and insisted that she did not plagiarise, the professor simply handed her a tissue and said the best way this situation could end would be with just failing the paper. And so the girl waits.
On a lighter note, my mother called me while I was at work. "You got three packages today."
"Did I?"
"Yeah. I don't know what's in them. Daddy got curious and opened one."
In my mind, the words
flash.
"Did he now?"
"Yeah, it was some kind of book."
The words flash.
"Really?"
"Yeah."
No tone of shock and disgust is heard, and I sigh as my heartbeat returns to normal.
"Ok. Cool. Tell Daddy not to open any more packages."

Was this the meeting that you rushed to after lunch?
She thinks that you plagiarised becuase you didn't have any citations? Jeezus, the least she could have done would have been to ask to see your sources fist, before saying anything. Stupid professors.
Just rememebr, come the end of the month, we are going to Animazement (well, my family is coming too, but you get the idea... ^_^), just think about that instead.
