Boscov's, how I loathe thee...let me count the ways.

For future reference, when I feel like ranting aboot coworkers, here's your field guide to coats and dresses (and bathingsuits).

The Other Lourdes - Gone. Was fired after she sold a $100 collector doll for $.99 and an expensive outfit for dirt cheap. Management was not amused. I am. She irritated me to no end. And I don't think she knew lots of English.

Shannon - Seems nice enough, but I get the impression that she doesn't like me. Friends with beauty queen Nancy. Getting married soon. Lines lips too much.

The Manager Lourdes - Every man in the store wants to fuck her. I don't know why. She doesn't strike me as pretty, and the expression she wears on her face at all times gives one the impression that she is smelling something most unpleasant. She is a perfectionist and has complete mental meltdowns if a hanger is so much out of place. Luckily I don't work with her often.

Anne - Guaranteed to drive you crazy! Regularly reminds me that she has been in the coats and dresses business for 35 years. She says she strongly believes in teamwork, and she does. Teamwork, of course, meaning "You do what I tell you to do." The one that makes me the most nuts. When not calling me "Casey-pooh", she refers to me as "Tracy," "Stacy," or "Lacey." I was left alone in the department last night, and before she leaves she tells me, "I don't expect you to be me, but maybe you can put away some swimsuits if you get a chance." She's the first to go when I rule the world.

Today I went into work a half hour early to try to clean up the mess from last night (people were still trying on swimsuits at 9:15, 15 minutes before the store closes). When Shannon comes in, she takes me away from putting back swimsuits to tell me to clean up the dresses part of the department because it looks terrible and if lourdes were here, she'd have a fit!

At approximately 9:45 this morning, I had a nervous breakdown and instigated plan "Act like everyone else who works here." The plan involves being ignorant and rude. It's harder than it sounds. I kept telling people to have a nice day, and kept price checking things for them. Dammit. I'm not good at Coats and Dresses, I'm not good at being mean...::cries::
